I purchased the shaggy angora goat on the wood mount for a gift for my neice. Loved how the wood grain comes through on the print. Excellent purchase! Would definitely purchase again.

About Cristian Vasile
Artist by an accident. I received the below email from my very first art collector Sep 25, 2013 Hello Cristian, I just realized I hadn’t sent you an email yet to tell you how FANTASTIC the copy of The First 10,000 digits of Pi turned out. My friend was absolutely astonished. I was lucky enough to have been there when he opened the package and he had a look of utter joy on his face. Thank you so much for your help, and for your amazing work. I will be ordering prints for me as well!! I am so excited to have discovered your work, and to get a chance to talk with you! Thank you so much!! I would love to hear your thoughts, so please drop me an email on cristian.ilies.vasile@gmail.com Thank you. Regards, Cristian.

Cristian.. I think your art it beautiful. Seriously comtemplating buying myself one of these for my classroom. I'm very curious though exactly what a flow life represents. Is it that the first decimal place is 1, so its one the //1 portion? and then the second is 4, so the 'line' is drawn from the //1 to the //4 and so on? Would love to hear a little bit more about the math behind this!
Cristian Vasile replied:
Hello Kayla, The image shows the digits of π, e and phi, as a path traced by links between successive digits. Each digit is assigned a segment around the circle and each 10 segments are divided in n positions, in this case 10,000 positions. The position of the link on a digit's segment is associated with the position of the digit inside the number's string. For example, the "14" in "3.14..." is drawn as a link between segment 1 @position 2 and segment 4 @position 3 Hope this helps. Regards, Cristian.
