YOU. PAINTOGRAPHY. AND WHIMSY. Here are visual stories inviting you to engage with them. When that happens, you can turn a “look and feel” you envision into reality and a blend of many different elements that inspire you. * WATERMARKS will NOT appear on any of your purchased artwork.
SHOW AND TELL: It’s show and tell all over again because paintography- in sassy hues, and distinct designs- offers space within the visual stories for the viewer to respond. For sure, images change when you engage them, and that can make “magic” happen. Your voice adds dimension to the story.
EXPLORE: Watermarks will NOT appear on any of your purchased artwork. So go ahead and feel free to click and order. ( Ordering is secure, fast and all products are of the highest quality.) Feel free to interact with the colors, patterns, and textures for your own expression. What started out on first glance to be quite apparent, may become something unexpected. Your story unfolds to interpret... and bring on home.
ZSANAN STUDIO: Intuitive digital paintings, whimsical paintography, and imaginative photo-art designs from my little studio in Asheville, N.C. are available here . Add your interpretation. Explore spaces at the very edges of color. Toss a pillow. Lift a mug. Hang a poster. Send a card. (* Zsanan Armchair Card Collection includes intriguing messages.)
ZSANAN BIO : I combine technical elements with images and photos to create unique expressions. Each example of digital paintography intends to tell a story that you can interpret through your own lens. You may notice that I have been influenced by the Fauvists, Henri Matisse and Toulouse Lautrec- and comic book artists such as Steve Ditko.
I use non-traditional techniques to build the backdrop for a scene until an idea or abstraction appears or a story unfolds within the layers and hues. Expect surprising outcomes. And so the conversation begins. Thank you for your interest and your stories.
CURRENT: I work in acrylics, watercolors, and digital processes. I enjoy sharing the idea of releasing expectations. My original canvases have appeared in galleries and are in private collections.
